I truly loved this story so much, I think each chcaracter has their own complexities and they were clearly flawed but not so much that I would hate them (aside from seowoo's dad fuck that guy). Yi-hwa i empathised with her situation so much, sometimes you feel that throwing it all away is better than confronting your fears, and she saw that reflection in early seowoo so she called it out,, She was a catalyst to building Seowoo's character and I'm very happy that she garnered the courage to admit her feelings and the truth to Hayoung in the end, it was very bittersweet to see the onesided love finally be rejected. I loved both Seowoo and Hayoung's characters too, for Seowoo I can feel the pressure of her conservative family and the consistent diminishing of her feelings, holding herself back from her full potential. I'm so glad she had the courage to get out, and that she has Hayoung there to support her, and her sister too. You can tell how much she's grown and she has both a very mature and childish side to her, it's very real. As for Hayoung I actually liked her miscommunication plotpoint more than a lot of yuris, she had been left and tossed around never with a stable love, and with the one person who did love her left out of nowhere as soon as she finally felt stable, it really breaks down every ounce of trust you built with love and safety. I'm so glad the resolve wasn't extremely dragged out, and she was the one to go to Seowoo (even if Seowoo texted her first i think hayoung would've come to realise and done it). She has been through so much and she finally has a safe space where she can dream and she can fulfill those love fantansies you see in films. This story was truly beautiful and well written and I'm so glad to have read this, true filmclub yuri peak right here...
