Yuri meant that "moment" when he witnessed Xinlu under water as a captivating sight which he answered as "first love" or a "special moment" he can't forget about. It's not anything weird. Yuri is not that type of person to begin with . Yuri wouldn't ever think of that moment as his first love if Xinlu didn't keep repeating the question about first love and unforgettable memory blah blah. People reading all these chapters and not understanding the main character's pov is simply disappointing
