So the chairman seemed powerful enough to be able to literally commit a bunch of crimes with no one discovering it and facing no consequences for like 3 years, and yet was actually in reality dumb enough to leave behind so much damning evidence and get jailed and completed duped by everyone around him?? like make this make sense. Why was this necessary at all? It wasn't even written well or fleshed out at all. It just seems like the author made up a bunch of things for no reason, and then forced out a resolution.
