Honestly, there has to be shenanigans going on with ML's memory cause MC's flashback with painting piece show that he cried over ML dying. And then MC got stabbed in back.
I fully admit to being biased tho, despite how ML's past 200 yrs are tragic considering how everyone around him dies. I dont fully pity ML. Even if MC's past betrayal is legit, MC has lived a totally different (and very shitty) life. ML is love bombing and being a manipulative cunt. Seducing him, making use of his shitty past, etc. UGH. I hope ML gets a heavy fucking dose of regret in the plotline, MC deserves better than these assholes. EAT SHIT.
