My fingers are mini dicks September 17, 2026 11:07 am

Its crazy how you see more people hating on FL for being a crybaby or Independent on Varkas than hating on the stupid male brother and her parents like GTMFUUUU like come on she’s been neglected abused and is hated by almost everyone AND THE ONLY REASON PEOPLE HATE HER IS BECAUSE 1. She had to be a bitch to protect herself cause her mother stopped giving a fuck about her when she became queen 2. CUS HER MOMS A WHORE or smthn!!

This girl is such a tragic character from the very start she was mistreated and mischaracterised by people around her she becomes crippled because of this incident then she loses her baby and her own husband never showed her the love she needed & wanted to the point he cared more about the twins than her and their BABY THAT DIES BTW BECAUSE OF THE CROWN PRINCE FL LOSES HER BABY AND HER ABILITY TO GIVE BIRTH BECAUSE OR THE CROWN PRINCD BUT YOULL SEE MORE HATE FOR FL THAN THIS UGLY MAN THING

You will hate an who is nothing but an abused victim fighting for her life in a male dominated timeline than a father who neglected his daughter than a mother who abandoned her daughter and gave more attention to her new born son just because he has the kings blood you’ll see more people in this comment section hate on the FL who
lived her life thinking nobody loved her. Over the crown prince her lusted over her caused her to lose her only baby which caused her so much pain she started sleep walking and hating her own self ITS CRAZY BTW BTBWTWBTW maybe its just today maybe tomorrow people will be better

You're acting like pointing out her flaws means people are dismissing her trauma. It doesn't. You can acknowledge everything she's been through and STILL find her insufferable. Those two things can coexist(what a surprise). A character can be deeply sympathetic AND deeply frustrating at the same time. That's literally what complex writing is supposed to do.

Okay, but here's the thing, none of that actually addresses the core criticism. You're listing all the ways the FL has suffered, and that's valid. She has been neglected, abused, mischaracterized, crippled, lost her baby, lost her ability to give birth, and been surrounded by people who failed her. That's genuinely tragic. Nobody is denying that. But so what? So what if she's a victim? So what if her mother abandoned her and her father neglected her and the crown prince ruined her life?
But does any of that give her the right to treat everyone around her like garbage? Does any of that give her the right to want to kill her own half-sister? Does any of that give her a free pass to lash out at every single person who tries to get close to her and then cry about being alone? The answer is pretty fucking obvious, No.
Being a victim does not exempt you from criticism. Being traumatized does not give you a license to be cruel. Being abused does not mean you get to abuse others in return and then hide behind your pain when someone calls you out on it. Trauma explains behavior but it does not excuse it. She's a grown woman making her own choices, and those choices are consistently selfish, cruel, and self-destructive.

And let's not pretend the "she had to be a bitch to protect herself" argument holds up when she's actively trying to kill her half-sister over a man. That's petty, jealous, entitled behavior that has nothing to do with the trauma she's endured and everything to do with the fact that she never learned how to process her pain without taking it out on other people.

You're saying people hate her for being a "crybaby" or "independent" when the real issue is that she's a terrible person to everyone around her regardless of whether they deserve it or not. The problem isn't that she's suffering, it's that her suffering has turned her into someone who treats everyone around her like garbage, and the narrative keeps expecting us to excuse it because "she's been through a lot."

Suffering, suffering, suffering, so has literally everyone else in this story. Ayla's been through shit too. The difference is Ayla doesn't get a free pass from the fandom. Why? Because she's not the heroine. And this story isn't about her, written from her POV.

You're saying people should hate the male characters and her parents more. Okay. Sure. The crown prince is trash. Her father is trash. Her mother is trash. Nobody is arguing otherwise. You want people to hate the crown prince more? Fine. I agree. He's damn awful. But you don't get to use his awfulness as a shield to deflect criticism from the FL. Pointing at worse people doesn't make the FL a good person. It just means she's surrounded by terrible people and instead of rising above it, she became just as bad in a different way. Two things can be true at once. The crown prince can be a monster AND the FL can be insufferable. Her parents can be garbage AND she can still be unlikeable. This is like comparing apples to oranges.

People don't hate the FL because she's worse than them. They hate her because the story keeps forcing her down our throats as the sympathetic one while she acts like a brat. The difference is that the male characters and her parents aren't presented as sympathetic protagonists we're supposed to root for. They're villains. They're supposed to be hated. The villains in this story aren't being presented as likable. The FL IS. That's the difference. We're not supposed to root for the crown prince. We ARE supposed to root for her. The FL is the one we're supposed to sympathize with, and yet she makes it impossible because every chapter is just her screaming at someone, blaming everyone else for her problems, and never once taking accountability for the ways she contributes to her own misery. And when the character we're supposed to root for is this insufferable, people are going to complain.

If the FL were ugly, nobody would defend her. That's the truth. Her entire defense is her face and her tragic backstory. Strip those away and all you're left with is a girl who treats everyone like shit and then wonders why nobody loves her.

So yes, the parents are trash. Yes, the crown prince is trash. Yes, the system that failed her is trash. But none of that makes the FL likable, and none of that makes her behavior acceptable. Two things can be true at once. She can be a victim AND she can be a terrible person. You can acknowledge her pain AND still hold her accountable for the way she treats others. That's just reality.
