ikr! they also rebutting how other ppl call ideum (or othe uke) pretty and label it as "the author is feminizing the mc" when they use the same compliment to a seme... seriously.

It's always the same story but at the very moment, if an author gets burnt out, falls ill, or mentally can't handle the workload anymore and goes on hiatus, people lose their minds and start whining... Every writer has their own unique style, so if they don't like something, why tear the creator apart? All these childish people are driving me insane.
UGH THIS. I'm a BL artist and I've had people straight up tell me in person that my characters are too feminine or don't look gay enough. They're literally dancers like, their bodies are a reflection of their job. I can generally brush it off because, as you said, it's my story and my character but sometimes it really does bug the shit out of me.
Don't worry about them, you can't please everyone anyway. As long as you're satisfied with yourself, that's what counts; as soon as you start doubting yourself, you'll become dissatisfied with your work and it gonna be noticable, and in the end, they'll pick on you for that too. You can learn from bad feedback, but you don't need to change anything, the fact that their physiques are shaped by their jobs means you're operating on realistic ground, which I think is already a big plus. Feed on the positive feedback and don't let yourself get lost. Best of luck with the story, by the way, talking to another writer always brightens my day (I'm a book author myself).
Oh trust me, I'm extremely hard set on my characters and their designs, mostly I'm pleased with how I draw my boys. The last time I was affected was because it was also a really bad event for me so my mood was already extremely unstable Σ( ￣□￣||) I have since moved past it after drawing some smutty scenes :D

you cant be serious. there are a lot of types of queer people! and this is yaoi we're talking about???¿ which really doesn't make sense for them to hate ideum's design. if it's not their cup of tea then pour it! no one's forcing you to read it.
