Don’t even know how to review this story… it’s raw and it doesn’t sugarcoat its tragedy. It’s a story about survival—t’s bittersweet, it’s heavy, and it’s very much real. Go into it expecting heavy topics and seeing the worst of humanity. How far people would go for survival and how we define “good” and “evil” My singular issue with the story was how some characters who commit rape or extortion were seen as “the bad guys”, while some who committed the same crimes were seen as more morally ambiguous and given the freedom to grow. In my opinion there is NEVER any growth for certain crimes, the story does challenge that, but it does not excuse the crimes themselves.
