Hmm

Lowkey kinda disappointed by the dynamic between the ml and fl, I did come in with preconceived notions based on edits i’ve seen which doesn’t help, but idk i expected a lot more chemistry between them two and it’s not really there. And if they were going to do this whole push and pull thing, i wish they would stop pussyfooting around it and have them start at 0% instead of 50% since it’s a little boring watching them already have something there rather than properly building up their relationship. Like with her breaking off the engagement, and him not being entirely who everyone thinks he is— it would’ve been the perfect chance to have their relationship restart and allow them to develop their feelings for each other ground-up, but instead it’s already “i like her” and “i like him” right from the jump. There’s really no conflict in their relationship besides from her motivations changing after her incident which kinda makes it feel one dimensional. Im feeling more intrigued in the relationship between her and Sansar since it’s actually developing instead of being thrown at me like “here, damn.” And don’t get me wrong, I can appreciate a ml with the little gap moe yk, the pathetic, cutesy, puppy dog to her, but really he’s a badass-lean-mean-calculating-killing-machine, but it’s really not giving that either. We’re being told hes ‘a beast supressing his inner desires’ rather than shown it. He has shown that side maybe once out of 28 chapters. I’m not opposed to seeing them together, I just want to see a bit more oomf idk. Idek how i ended up rambling all of this whoops but nonetheless i am kinda looking forward to whether he will show his other side during this competition.
