Part of his character, makes him more realistic having the flaw of being a hot head. Hos bro cares but he's also made it clear he doesn't approve of what Gyeol is doing, hence the tension.

I don’t like when they make the characters treat their loved ones shitty. Gyeol could have some respect for the guy who’s been a brother to him for most of his life. Talking to him rudely bc he cares makes no sense to me
