People saying "it's not that serious," are really missing the point. Bullying has killed and is still killing kids out here! People kill themselves due to societal pressures and family expectations. There are societies where optics and nepotism are worth more than skill/effort. Social ruin can follow you for the rest of your adult life (mentally/socially/financially).
You can't expect someone who goes to school for 10+ hours a day (which is the usual w cram schools in asia), to not take classroom politics seriously. That's literally their whole world at that age.
