People shit on Jinx way too much in my opinion, this story wasn’t even a bad read really, of course when you read it all together like I just did.
Kim Dan is a sweetheart whose flaw is that he puts others needs before his own.
A person who sacrifices everything they’ve got x A person who uses others as sacrifices for his own gain.
Both of them learning from each other. Kim Dan learning to care more about himself than others and Jaekyung learning to care for others rather than him all the time.
The angst was nice and both of their childhoods were rlly sad to read about, I especially liked Jaekyung’s story more, it was interesting seeing him going full fledged boxing, giving it up and becoming a thug, just to come back to it all over again.
Jaekyung’s chasing arc was good. I like how he didn’t immediately change and was still a snappy bitch, its more realistic that way, rather than changing his personality immediately and being a whole new person.
This was a nice read and honestly, the hate Jinx gets on tiktok is eh.
