My theory is that Lee Haseu, isn’t a student at all, he seems to be much older (as hinted by grandpa). I think he was sacrificed in like the past, to stop the spread of some disease that was ravaging a village, or maybe infact he was patient zero and scarified, tied to that willow tree to stop the infection from spreading to other villagers. This in turn, made him a vengeful spirit, and somehow in 1998 he was the one who killed those students (to try and escape the willow tree). Though, I have no idea how to connect him to that past student that he felt “used him” and my theory could be completely BS and he could infact be an actual student from 1998 who died and then became a vengeful spirit. Idk? What do yall’ think?
