The ML is stupid that is true. He is obsessed with the child version of her and not recognizing who she is right now. I get why people drop it. However, i do give him props that he is self-reflecting which rare for a ML and he tries his best for her or give her space. He is not the worst ML and giving him a chance won't hurt too much. He is taking steps so I don't want to crucify him. Anyway, the both of them need to sit and talk about everything because this story is a bit too much misunderstanding trope.
