It technically hasn’t happened yet, the latest chapter ends with the last day of the contract right after a backstory about how top grew up. He was raised by his grandma who only approves of “proper” people so he lived his whole life picking and choosing only “proper” people to make friends with, and those who aren’t in that category as simpleminded people easy to manipulate. He thinks everything is going swimmingly with bottom until the latest chapter where he was trying to make plans for tomorrow and the bottom has to awkwardly remind him that “no, this is the last day”. So yeah, he’ll be forced to keep his promise to leave mc alone. Cant wait for the chasing arc ehehe
Ahhh....thanks for the spoilers. I just can't understand whether he actually likes the MC even a little or it's an experiment from head to toe.
Imo it’s clear he’s catching feelings, but due to his upbringing he’s too stuck up in his head to admit it, hiding behind the excuse of “curiosity” for a named partner, and he thinks as long as he acts like a perfect partner uke will stay with him long term so he doesn’t have to put in the emotional labor to figure it out himself. Well, sucks for him, mc can smell that bs instinctively and run away.
Incredibly unhealthy ik, but mc’s avoidant attachment personality is incredibly relatable, especially when dealing with a playboy or those who always hide behind a smile like the top. the best way to avoid getting hurt is through avoidance after all, just dont fall in love with someone who cant be honest. I’m incredibly grateful to be viet bc they are up to date with the raws and woo boi, is it interesting to see how top ended up the way he did, and that he’s gonna get his comeuppance when the contract period ends.
