no one understands them like I do, they are both deeply flawed characters who are toxic to the point where they would rather be miserable together than ever leave eachother. Both have done wrong by eachother and try to be better but can't seem to communicate that to each other which always leaves one of them hurt. Its very miscommunication trope Thalia thinks Varkas is only with her out of sense of duty where as Varkas, is with her because he loves and wants to protect her (he never says this to her)
