I liked it overall and don’t mind the ending but I think it probably could have been done better. With how much detail was put through out as we gradually went through Sumino’s memories, the end just seemed to pack a lot of ideas together in a very short space. Him getting married to his colleague then ending up in a care home with Aoki is a nice surprise, I love bittersweet endings but I just think it could have been maybe less rushed.
