He had a chance to talk. At the very beginning, when he was facing off against him, ONE LINE would have sufficed. "He took Jay, I can't leave him in his hands, because you know Xinlu" - any abbreviated version would have also sufficed, since Ilay knows:
- Tay
- Jay
- Xinlu
- And that Jay was supposed to be at the Villa to begin with, but when they banged everything up, they surely didn't find him there and Tay was alone outside.
I simply despise lazy forced drama do prolong a story that's clearly finished. They had reached the stage of somewhat understanding each other's feelings. The sole goal given by the story as an overarching McGuffin - Finding Nemo, uh, I mean Jaeui - was also checked off. So they really didn't have much that kept the story going outside of forced drama and that's really sad, because I loved this story, but this is just annoying.

Bruuuuuuhhhhhhhh... I saw this coming, but I was still hoping that Ilay would at least give Taeui a chance to talk ┗( T﹏T )┛
