This is just Eros and Psyche. I mean it's pretty obvious..

how though? like, i get the winged pretty thing, and the whole meet me only in darkness so you don't see my face. But eros did that to psyche because he wanted her to fall in love with him before she falls for his pretty face. Blondie here showed himself to mc long before, in the dreams, and mc knew well enough that he was beautiful, he just didn't remember the face exactly. And the night thing was explained with an "i couldn't look into your face after i basically kidnapped you and caused you misfortune". Also, psyche's bad luck, so to say, happened before ever meeting eros, mostly because Aphrodite was angry that psyche was prettier then her. Inspired from eros and psyche maybe, loosely, not a reinterpretation

ok i guess the bad luck because of jealousy is there, but to me the main trope was the don't see my face, fall in love with my personality first

I mean it smells to me, with all the greek stylising (however misguided at times), like: the author read the myth, loosely made an interpretation, and tried to make it more sex driven, while simultaneously less creepy. That's why ml is introduced from childhood to lessen the fault in kidnapping, and we have feelings early on, to diminish the rape -iness. I mean if you look at bl comics nowadays it's pretty sex driven. More so then it used to. Also, adding Aphrodite would need elaboration on the background and turning away the story from the couple (even if for a sec) and I can see how that would be too much for a few chapter manhwa. That's usually how it goes with adoption of myths of tropes..
