I love this story but...

I love this story, its one of the best ones for depression representation (?) along with Payback, but I think the resolution was rushed at the end. I dont know if its me ....maybe it is ...but people especially in this type of media (manga, manhwas, webcomics) sometimes have to make it work at the end, especially with family. Forgiving family for what they do to you is not always the answer and its not always something that should be done as a step of acceptance or a way to work around your depression.

Yes, she is human, and yes she deserves to be free of the other family that abused her, but: saying that both your children are dead, leaving one of those children behind with the abusive parent and family, remarrying and never looking to see how he was was or even resolving it through therapy (because the daughter said they knew it was psycbological and she got help) is just too much to uncover and resolve in one chapter.

I know he was saying everything and that the thought process was shown in that chapter, but it did not seem enough to me. Yes he forgave her for abandoning him and realized that he didnt want to have people worry about him because he is in pain, but that does not deal with abandonment, or being a young adult, or being talked down to your whole life and told that you murder everyone around you. It would have been more meaningful to have the mother actually working it out and apologizing and him saying that stuff to his mom, rather than the stepchild she raised instead of him. He was an adult now, she could even look for him in secret or in hiding from her husband, I dont know but it would have been more meaningful for it to be her.
