I always theorised that haesu isnt actually whole and has two beings inside him including himself. I’m thinking he was sacrificed as a child because there was always ominous deaths in that area and I’m guessing the reason why he was chosen was because perhaps he was an orphan or a troublemaker or just chosen by the shaman at the time performing the ritual. However, it backfired and actually merged the entity and child’s soul together making them coincide into one body, the past chapters didn’t really make it that obvious that there was a possibility of two diff beings since it always just cuts to one panel for each of them until this chap where they’re finally shown together. The entity wants to be released to wreak havoc and haesu wants to escape and also because haesu has been with that entity this whole time he ofc isn’t normal either, in a way of lacking human emotions as such and it’s also kinda evident that haesu acts childish in a way when he tends to eunha. I really hope they don’t drag it out too long in s2 and delve into haesu’s past and how he came to be. In a way s1 leaves more questions than answers and some aren’t really explained or just assumed but i’m guessing that’s more suspense. Eunha is gon be okay but I hope she doesn’t suffer too much girl wants a peaceful life
