No matter how cute the artstyle is, this is gonna be a sad ending and someones gonna die. Like even if the curse is removed, nene and amane are from diff timelines. The only option for a happy ending is reincarnation where they all start over which is what I think might happen. Like in order to fully get rid of the curse Nene might have to sacrifice herself and which spots with tsukasa because she loves her friends too much to see them suffer. Like it's established she's a hopeless romantic who, when it comes to the people she loves, she's pretty brave and selfless. Yes shes naive but you can see that she overcomes that overtime as she faces new challenges by herself.
Idk I hope the ending is filled with angst and is open ended. For me it wouldn't feel right to have a complete happy ending where all the ships sail and everything turns out to be okay with unicorns in the sky cuz that would just be boring imo.. and maybe I'm just miserable like that
