Cause what do you mean you witness your loving/diligent/hardworking boyfriend get harassed and chewed out at work (A BUSINESS YOU LITERALLY OWN) and you do nothing to help him... Not only that but it takes you a WEEK to even start investigating. A WHOLE WEEK.and when you end your investigation and find your boyfriend working as a cashier, what do you do? Offer him his old job back,maybe plus the promotion the project idea deserved? NOPE! You have sex with him and convince him to move in with you bkoz as you say "you're not working together anymore". It's so obvious the author has never worked in a corporate space and didn't do any research, bkoz how the hell is the CEO my boyfriend, and I'm working as a cashier???
