Part of me thinks that astana got what he deserved, but another part of me wishes that he realized how royally he fucked up. If anyone could have regretted all the wrongs they committed, I think Astana could have been capable of it even if the empress wasn't.
I somehow feels pity for Astana but same time no. That's how he was raised, spoiled and arrogant. He dgaf anyone and didnt even hesitate to abandoned his mom for a second. He stick with it as an adult that never thought of his selfish actions.
