im theorizing there really is more to her wanting to marry the dragon-lady so bad, i was thinking maybe its for protection? but like well… she already have it just because of the promise but i do also feel like she wants protection in a way that she wants to be independent/free and not be married to a man kind of way knowing that she was poor as a child and was controlled/conditioned all her life to be a royal. yeah maybe she really does not want to be leashed to that life and maybe she hates her bloodline so bad too because she thinks it caused all her suffering which might explain why she was curious about her ancestor and the promise the dragon-lady had with them.
ugh i hope it really is that deep and the mc isn’t that shallow of a character PLEASEEEEE
