i generally hate love triangles because it's just dumb manufactured drama, but love or hate has such a beautiful and complex narrative and in-depth character exploration. i absolutely love how the characters behave realistically while going through the ups and downs of love
if you have any recs for a story that has >no one-dimensional characters >more character oriented than plot oriented and explores realistic characters >NO POWER DYNAMICS (i aint reading some rich/poor, powerful/weak bs) >no angst for the sake of angst (manufactured dog blood and drama is a no-no) >something that's preferably not tragic (like perle TT) >nothing supernatural or fantasy or verse, and definitely not a work where the second lead believes he was a dog in his past life ><
