Okay, I don't care, if people think I'm too woke or whatever. No matter the relationship between two people you ALWAYS need to ask for consent. It's never okay to touch someone while they're sleeping unless, if it has been discussed before hand (I know everyone has their own kinks). I mean it's good thing that mc wasn't upset or didn't feel uncomfortable, but ml couldn't have known that. Ml saying "Oh I just can't seem to take my hands off you even when you're passed out" is not a declaration of love, it's disrespectful and disgusting. It just shows that he has no respect for mc to control his urges and respect his boundaries. They did not talk about this before hand, so he couldn't have known how mc would feel about it. I think this shows a huge lack of respect towards mc as a person and his boundaries as if being fuck buddies requires no consent or respect. To me this feels like betrayal of trust and safety. I think this is such an unnecessary scene to ruin ml's character! I've been told multiple times that fiction is not a moral discussion, but SA and non con is crossing the line. I understand wanting to explore toxic dynamics, but it shouldn't be romanticized! Here it's not even exploring dynamics, but it's just gonna be brushed off.
