Okay, I think that, all things considered, this was the best move Heewoon could make. Let's be honest, his debt was impossible to pay off, and he and his family were going to be killed. In an ideal world, things could have been resolved differently, but Kangwoo was truly his only chance at a relatively normal life. He was very abusive at the start, but the parallels between the first and last chapters show a certain shift in him, we can only hope he stops hurting Heewoon, though, of course, he remains controlling. Obviously, Heewoon also developed Stockholm syndrome. It would have been great to see some real change in Kangwoo, but let's face it, people like that rarely change.
