Despite the pretty harsh opinions I saw in the comments, I actually really enjoyed this one.
Do I wish the ML hadn’t continued hooking up with other people after meeting the MC again? Absolutely. But at the same time, I think that messiness made their relationship feel a little more realistic. It wasn’t the perfect romantic reunion I wanted, but somehow that made the story more interesting to read.
There’s also A LOT of fluff, which personally worked for me. I love longer stories where we actually get to stay with the characters after the main drama is over—more POVs, more relationship development, more ordinary moments together. So I really enjoyed the side stories and how much time we got with everyone. Even the supporting characters felt well written.
Would I recommend it? Yes. You might not even finish every single chapter, and honestly, I think that’s okay.
There are so many sweet moments that eventually it starts feeling less like you’re waiting for the next huge plot point and more like you’re just spending time with these characters. And because of that, you can say goodbye to the story whenever you feel ready without feeling like you missed something significant.
