Their smut is hot and all but nanjo’s behavior makes no sense. It’s just because they had to get together. He didn’t want to see him awhile ago. Does he feel sorry for him? He decided not to care about the twink anymore? He was so infatuated with him just a few chapters back? He realised he missed some d?

He has a saviour complex. Guess he gets off on having power over other people. Like sunhwa, it made him feel better about himself

It seems like the fact that he may have realized Sunhwa wasn't going to answer and what it seems here is that he is developing sadistic tendencies towards Mokyeon ,he is kind of between the mix of pitying ,attracted and also a bit angry? So he is expressing it through wanting to dominate/bully Mokyeon this chapter ,he seems to be showing restraint when Mokyeon had a noise bleed ,so he is thankfully not off his rocker

i mean it doesn't have to make sense. people just don't be like that sometimes :3

I also think seeing MY in such a pathetic and desperate state might have awakened sadistic and domineering tendencies in NJ. Otherwise, I can't think of any other reason how the situation turned out like this. It makes no sense to me. Previously, he wanted nothing to do with MY and now he's all over MY. Makes no sense.

There was also the author drawing NJ in a dom outfit for MY's bday so I do think we're headed down a BDSM path between the two. I'm not sure how if I like where that's headed bc NJ already has so much power and authority over MY, and it's so incredibly imbalanced esp if you take into account MY's feelings. I think we're going to see MY suffer a bit emotionally again from NJ. Just a thought

It all feels like it’s just to move the plot with some non-sensical developments. First mokyeon was guilt tripping him into forgiveness and now nanjo conveniently has a savior complex? Maybe it’s just to show they are two peas in a pod or whatever. S1 was much more interesting, s2 is meh so far

I mean the savior complex is consistent with NJ's character bc he was the sugar daddy to SH and wanted to "save" poor innocent SH from something? I would really like to get NJ's POV soon and find out why he was so attached to SH and now he's "forgiven" MY for exposing their little secret and kicking out SH from his life that he was so desperate to keep. Maybe he likes twinks and smell of desperation? Idk.

While I agree that the development seems strange and sudden .

Best I can deduce is that Nanjo has both savior complex and développed sadism because Mokyeon at this very moment fits both the pathetic type and indices enough anger with his past behavior for him to want to

Tease him . And tbh while the development in Nanjo's preferences is understandable from.

On the grand scheme ,it's not very in line with the fact that his character ,he is genuinely a good person and doesn't seem like he would take advantage of the fact that Mokyeon is in n emotionally vulnerable place to unleash his newfound kink .

But the overall thing seems that ,he pitied him deeply after listening to his drunk ass rant yesterday but can't seem to get past the anger immediately, so as a result he decided to keep him in his life (if something beyond attraction and pity is involved ,I can't say ) and turn it into this kind of dynamics .

I think the answer to that may be that Nanjo having a savior complex wouldn't allow him to abandon Mokyeon after he expressed suicidal tendencies in his drunk rant (which is a hell no irl)

However in the mix of choosing to keep him ,the mix of emotions he has towards him ,probably remaining anger and attraction is translating into sadism .

However I said this again ,the development in dynamics is understandable however it genuinely undermines Nanjo as a character ,he didn't seem to only have a savior complex but he was a truly good person ,so him choosing this time where Mokyeon is in a emotionally vulnerable place to take advantage and express his tendencies kinda makes him a bit ...shitty .

But IG Mokyeok is going to be into that ,so it's fun in fiction but in real life needs hell lot of therapy not some dynamic switch with the guy he has hardcore limerence towards .

I didn’t feel that he was a daddy to SH tbh. It felt he really liked the guy and gifts were just a part of his courting. After the incident he couldn’t let go and kept looking for the twink. And then just conveniently moved on, no closure, no nothing.

Yeah, that’s what guilt tripping is.
No doubt MY is gonna be into whatever Nanjo wants just to stay around.
I also checked the author’s s1 note and the author says it is a black comedy. I don’t see anything black or comedic here so far. Just weird.
