firstly, taeshin is an absolute piece of shit IDGAF. hes a rapist and abuser, he can go to hell. and no, if you liked this story idgaf, dont reply to me and tell me it’s fiction and yada yada. romanticising abuse by making the victim and abuser end up together is not something i’ll ever overlook. the horrid sex aside (when won-woo wasnt consenting), wtf was that kidnap attempt?? and then buying the building they were living in FOR WHAT. it all amounted to nothing, what crack was this author on
then won-woo - even a queer man is still a man at the end of the day, bc he held onto his nonexistent pride like it was nobody’s business. literally lost his virginity for money, but refused to take more money from taeshin girl bye. i totally understand that they ended up together bc of force and coercion by taeshin, im not blaming won-woo for that, but it’s the fact that he threw all caution to the wind at the start for the money and then when they were actually together, he refused to take any money. bitch??? yeah i understand he wanted to be on equal footing and whatwhat, but he doesn’t seek help and he doesn’t have money WHAT EQUAL FOOTING. he burdens himself, caring to a fault, but still wants to hold onto his flimsy pride. also the fact that he ending up liking taeshin sm that he doesn’t he doesn’t even argue with taeshin anymore, just says things in a kind, roundabout way, so taeshin doesn’t feel insecure is CRAZY. also, FEEL FREE TO CORRECT ME, but was ai used in the making of this or was it an artists mistake? there were these two panels that stood out to me. i can’t remember the chapter of the first one, but it was of the two of them sitting in bed and taeshin hugs won-woo. i really wish i could post screenshots here urgh. but anyway the dialogue is taeshin saying: “Come on, come here.” and the sfx saying “Clasp” as he hugs won-woo. ANYWAYS, hes hugging won-woo but his right arm comes out from behind his neck
the second one was in one of the side stories while theyre at the buffet place (?) the dialogue is taeshin saying: “I told you we should’ve just rested in the room.”, won-woo replies: “I should at least eat with the kids…” with the sfx saying “Slip” and won-woo’s speech bubble has the word “Ngh” attached to it. won-woo’s hands are occupied by a plate and pair of tongs respectively, whilst taeshin’s one hand is behind won-woo and the other is clasped over won-woo’s hand holding the plate. so all four hands are occupied, however there is a floating plate under their clasped hands
i don’t want to throw any accusations around, but idk if it was ai or just an artists mistakes
