The only one with a happy life is the protagonist of the side story, the American soldier. The main protagonist and the celebrity protagonist from the side story suffer. the main story's protagonist even develops sex addiction. However, I felt sad for Jae Hee (one of the people who raped the main story's protagonist). He wanted to be the protagonist's normal lover but couldn't. in the final chapter, he cries, yet remains grateful just to be with the protagonist, even if it's only as a sex partner.
