As someone who has dated: it’s pretty much just two people playing house until one decides the other is an absolute moron and dumps them. I’m still a romantic at heart but dating is such a bullshit contest where no one is being truthful until 6 months in and then suddenly everything goes wrong. At least for this idiot, he’s put his worst foot forward and is still loved so he might be okay.
