Wonjae’s mother loves Cheongwoo & always tells Wonjae to treat him nicely. I just hope that in the side story, the author does something to make Wonjae suffer. Even though he does everything Cheongwoo asks—planning to marry him and helping his grandma—I still think it's not enough to make up for what he did before.
I just finished reading the novel.The truth is, Wonjae won't let Cheongwoo go, but at least he stopped locking him up, forcing him, and treating him like a whore anymore .He follows Cheongwoo’s wishes to give him an ordinary life, paying his debt, taking care of his grandma and allowed him to go to college.Tbh, I really wanted Wonjae to suffer and beg Cheongwoo for forgiveness, but since that didn't happen, I’ve just come to accept it and I actually feel a bit better now bcz when ppl said Cheongwoo was still struggling like that, I honestly couldn't sleep
