This was insane. From the beginning till the end the story gripped my attention like I couldn't put it down. I had to binge read it. The high stakes, the tension, yearning everything was on point. I could feel it through the characters. All the characters were so interesting even the antagonists.
But obviously my favorite was Lee Je-oh. He was the king. I absolutely loved how powerful and strong he was. He practically saved Seong-rok from this shithole and himself also. The love they had for each other where they refused to let go of each other through everything was so beautiful. I loved how they slowly grew to love each other in this hell. They were like two broken pieces of different puzzles but they learn to fit each other. They were each other's salvation.
And I absolutely adored Han-gyeol. He was my baby. And I loved how through his softness he won over Cheon.
All in all this was a banger of a story. Perfect mix of action, romance, tragedy and all the other emotions.
