I love this story but my only critique is I wish it showed more of how and why he neglected Yuri his first life (stress/pressure/insecurities/etc). If the author highlighted why he was like that then it would make his change seem more natural because if it was that easy for him to act caring and doting this time around why didn't he before. I just would have liked if it were like "before I was so worried about being the best for you I overlooked you loved me as I was". Without a reason for why he was like that it makes him seem shallow.
