You won't even believe that, by the end of thelmost everything that happened to the MC was basically for nothing. Like, Dominic just let him go. What the fuck were you doing for those six years? And his mother KNEW Dominic loved her ????and all that shit happen because of her to mc ? Bro, are you fucking serious?
And then we find out the MC parents are alive So what the fuck was Dominic doing all this time? And Dominic raped him, while Jason/Johan/whatever his name was also raped him multiple times. At this point, how is any of this even supposed to be believable?
The ending makes it even worse. If Dominic never actually loved the MC and was only seeing his mother in him, then what was the point of everything? Yes, they somehow tried to make the ML's fucked-up behaviour more understandable, but it still doesn't make the plot make sense. And the biggest problem is that neither Dominic nor the other guy actually suffered any consequences for what they did. The MC and ML are the only ones who suffered because of all these people, while the people responsible basically got away with everything.None
So what's even the point of putting all that trauma into the story if you're not going to give it any meaningful consequences or payoff? It just feels like the author kept adding fucked-up shit for shock value and then didn't know what to do with any of it.

I genuinely think the author ran out of ideas for what to do with Dominic and Jason, so they were like, “Oh, we're supposed to feel sorry for the MC now? Fine, let's just let him go.” After raping him, drugging him, and doing everything else to him, suddenly they feel bad and are like, “Okay, bye-bye, you're free now.” Bro, WHAT THE FUCK WAS THE POINT THEN?
And neither of them even faced any real consequences for what they did. Then, by the end, we find out the MC is apparently one of the richest people in the world. So what the fuck was he doing all this time? Was he actually in debt or whatever? I don't even know anymore. If he's that rich, then why was he in that situation for six fucking years? And what were his parents doing all this time? I genuinely thought they were dead because of how the story treated the situation.
At this point, it feels like the author just kept throwing trauma at the MC without actually knowing what to do with any of it afterward. There was no payoff, no proper consequences, and barely any logic behind the whole thing. The more the ending explains, the less the entire story makes sense.
