This story is so engaging and the characters are all well written... I ended up binging the whole thing at 4 am rip but #no regrets Pacing is godlike, not one boring moment and the crime subplot just gives that extra spice that I like, tbh I hope author is planning to make side stories bc I just finished reading but I already feel like I'm missing this
There were things I didn't like tbh, I couldn't 100% like the ml of the second couple since his first interaction with the second mc was him probing if he had any other partners when he himself was just shown having snu with a japanese twink....he did get better though, and considering what he went through I felt like forgetting his 'blunder' The first ml's father though.... when he told his son that while living in australia he got to know gay people and 'realized' they were also people YIKES that felt more homophobic that anything else he could have said, idk if it's me but he was also being kinda manipulative, trying to get a reaction from his son on such a serious issue. At least he admitted he had no right to say anything after the huge neglect he inflicted on his son lol I didn't want to but I ended up venting ig I disliked the dad more than I thought
This story is truly a gem tho, the leads of the first couple in particular carried the plot and they were just so refreshingly honest and always ready to communicate, a dream come true for a bl reader lmao Props to author for proving that a story can be engaging and still be green flag (no unnecessary sexual abuse, jerk mls or miscommunication)
