I kind of love how at the end she was happy by having people accept emis personality . Theres something interesting there i cant articulate lol its like by looking up to, and loving someone for being a good person, doesnt that mean you also value those traits? Kind of like how the reincarnater tried to learn swordsmanship because the old emi tried her best and excelled in everything, is there a lesson about faking it to you make it here? Also she “loved” the demon king for loving “emi” but really i think it was the parts of herself she was proud of. Like when she saved that little girl, she acted like it was a “what would emi do” situation but then she was so happy about doing the good deed after she just kept giving the little girl more presents. At the end her ultimate goal was making a place kind people could live, all because one person showed her kindness. She was more like emi than she realized and i think the people who love the “mask” also love her. Skill alone wasnt enouhh to be the main character, and neither was kindness. They both needed to borrow qualities from eachother and in doing so embodied those qualities themselves.
