He’s going to abuse him to the point where Jiwoo becomes genuinely terrified of the outside world. He’s scared to even step foot outside anymore. Every unfamiliar sound makes him jump, he stutters constantly, and eventually he becomes afraid of every man because his brain has learned to associate them with danger. He becomes so heavily dependent on Juyeon that he needs his permission for practically everything. It gets to the point where Jiwoo barely knows how to exist without him.
And there’s going to be beastiality involved, which honestly scares me because I’m praying that part doesn’t get adapted. If they actually put that on screen, I genuinely think it would scar a lot of people.
But the thing about Juyeon is that he’s losing himself too.
He has suppressed his rational side so much that he barely knows how to separate what he feels from what he does anymore. He’ll deliberately do things just to ruin Jiwoo, hurt him, break him down, and then immediately regret it afterward. He’s constantly battling between his madness and the person he used to be.
He came back wanting revenge. That was the whole point. He wanted to make Jiwoo suffer for everything that happened between them.
Except somewhere along the way, he fell for Jiwoo again.
And he absolutely hates himself for it.
So whenever those feelings start coming back, he turns them into anger. He takes all of that hatred, confusion, guilt, and self-loathing and pours it onto Jiwoo. He hurts him, regrets it, feels disgusted with himself, and then does it all over again.
It’s literally an endless cycle.
Juyeon destroys Jiwoo.
Juyeon regrets destroying Jiwoo.
Juyeon hates himself for caring about Jiwoo.
He hurts him again because he doesn’t know what else to do with those feelings.
And Jiwoo becomes so psychologically dependent on him that, despite everything Juyeon has done, he can’t imagine existing without him either.
That’s what makes them both so doomed.
By the end, they can’t live without each other, but it isn’t romantic. It isn’t some beautiful “they’re toxic but they love each other” ending.
It’s horrifying.
It’s the kind of relationship where you’re desperately wishing they would just kill themselves
They’re completely intertwined, but in the worst possible way.
