RIGHT! +++ they’re both equally toxic in the new ch., they are both being prideful—holding a facade that they were fine during the separation (e.g. both of them saying that they slept w/ other guys when in truth they didn’t and were obsessively following e/o). The obsession (idk if it’s obsession is the right term for yujin but ygwim) is a mutual thing for both of them, js at different intensity (?). Yujin still watches old movies of hunter and is running away for hunter’s “safety” btw in case u guys forgot his true reason (he genuinely believes that being away from hunter will save hunter from being involved with his issues with his father), while hunter searches for yujin. Both are being hypocrites in the new chapter.
Right?!
Even from the start, I could tell that if anything went awry, it would set him off.
Before Yujin disappeared for a year, no matter how far he went, Aaron monitored him constantly. He had all the resources and subordinates in the world to track Yujin down. Taking photos and sending reports on everything Yujin did, where he went, and who he spent time with. Every single movement was accounted for. He had even planted several GPS trackers on Yujin's belongings before he left, so Yujin was in his grasp 24/7.
The fact that Yujin managed to vanish without a trace for an entire year is what's pissing him off so badly. It’s not just that Yujin left him nor is he feeling betrayed because he genuinely trusted Yujin. It’s the fact that Yujin, for once, managed to pull off something completely beyond his control.
Like I said in a previous comment weeks ago, Aaron never trusted Yujin for a second and now he’s out here playing the victim card.
It’s not that I think Aaron doesn't love Yujin or that this is just pure obsession. It’s that the line between love and insane obsession is dangerously thin.
It stops being about genuine care and turns entirely into ownership and control. When Aaron's idea of "loving" includes tracking Yujin's every breath and panicking the moment he can't predict Yujin next move, it isn't healthy devotion anymore. It's possessiveness disguised as affection.
Don't forget Yujin knew every single bit of it.
ppl saying hunter was a green flag really read it with their eyes closed. He was yellow at best during the pre-timeskip, he was obsessive but can control it as long as yujin was by his side. Now that yujin ran away he is letting that obsession take over. I highkey do not like the flag system cuz it undermines the complexity of a character lmao but
