So I'm guessing the reason Gitae doesn't enlist is because they'd learn he's not a guide and take Jihun from him but Yooseong is right. I think it'd be interesting to see a dynamic where the esper has their partner but has to get guided by a third party. Guiding doesn't always mean sex so maybe they could slide by with bare minimum guiding. Also how are they living worse off than in a zombie apocalypse??
