Rashta

To kind of elaborate on what I mean is from what people are saying is that she only did things because she was being manipulated by all of those around her.. but in the beginning she really wasn’t. Don’t get me wrong I think she deserved better from what happened to her when her arc ended but she did a lot of horrible things, she ruined people’s lives before the divorce and before she even got pregnant. She was all giddy when Naviars lady in waiting was being punished, when she supposedly wanted to be close to Naviar and be friends with her. Rashta tried to humiliate her in front of people. Souvieshu was horrible horrible, he is so bad on soo many levels but I don’t really want to get into him cuz he sucks.

Rashta later in the story convinced her fake parents to try and kill their real daughter with them not knowing who she was but Rashta knew they were her parents while she claimed to try and find Evely.

People did her dirty really bad but she really did a lot of the stuff on her own. Maybe things could’ve been different if the emperor never found her she deserved better, until she didn’t deserve better. She did what she had to, to survive… but and this is a huge but she really did not need to do a majority of the things she did, if she just was herself and whatnot and asked souvieshu for help or whatever things could’ve been better instead of all her her plotting and making bad allies who were trying to harm her. Of course she didn’t know better but I don’t think she was as stupid as she seemed to be.

Another thing is that people seem for forget is that this manhwa is based in a different era before any modern thought process. No slaves cannot consent but she did what she was doing to survive she got with that man’s son and had a baby to try and bring her status up so she wasn’t a slave.. that didn’t work so she ran off and the emperor found her and that’s when her status when up basically immediately. She had it so bad and it’s really so sad but at some point maybe when she first became the concubine she didn’t have to do what she was doing anymore.. she could just live her life without having to try and manipulate people or become like Naviar to stay by the emperors side she did too much.

But anyways this manwha is a historical fantasy, the noble people and royalty grew up in that system and even if they wanted to they couldn’t change the system because that would mean having to rewrite the whole legal system which isn’t even something they can do.. especially Naviar she did not have power like the emperor or anyone else she couldn’t just make changes to the legal system. Plus is the heartbreaking truth but slavery happened all over the world especially criminal based slavery like in this specific story it lasted thousands of years. I don’t get why people wish to pretend it never happened because this story minus all of the fiction and fantasy aspects really happened. People cannot act like none of this never happened, it’s partly why the story is pretty good, because it’s not acting as if the main characters are perfect and that they are the greatest people ever, they all have their faults each character has their faults but it’s all because of their living conditions. It would be amazing if we lived in a world in which since way back in time people were good and didn’t harm other or have slaves or commited crimes. But that’s just not the world we live in. I think this story is great because it highlights those aspects, and it’s why people hate this story because they wish to pretend that characters could do no wrong when in reality and in this manhwa each and every character does bad things, especially the main 4 characters.
