I liked it. Maybe I was in the mood for some ridiculous drama, but I was invested enough to skip the sex scenes lol.
Also, I think some of yall need to give the mc a break. Ofc he’s hesitant with ml. He was surrounded by people who dated rich people just to be abandoned and he was cheated on cuz of money. He has always felt the difference between the wealthy and him and didn’t want to be emotionally invested to just have it break on him. Like mc spent his life so far so his ex could make it. He was giving all he had w not much return cuz that was his family. Then his ex literally cheated on him w a rich women for money, so whose to say a rich lover won’t abandon him for another reason, like mls father did. He was trying to avoid being hurt again, that stuff doesn’t rub off right away.
Like some of these criticisms against mc r things victims of abusive relationships hear. Things r so much
I did like there was no over the top misunderstanding thing that lasted for a long time. Ml was patient and understanding enough for mc to stop bracing for when everything would go bad.
