Both is hurt, with Aaron he feels betrayed and abandoned and he's terrified that if he lets him go Yujin would run away again to a corner he doesn't know. And for Yujin's he's too scared to be intimate or to be open so he's become defensive, saying things like "I got bored of you" and "I don't like you anymore"
Personally, I believe Yujin ran away because he doesn't feel like he deserves to be loved. It's a constant thought of his since early season where he continuously say him and Aaron doesn't match, how he's out of place and how he can't believe Aaron someone who is so bright is sitting in his dumb of a home. He doesn't see himself or his life as valuable. To him, he's just some street kid ready to be thrown away.
Despite Aaron making progress in the past, it's clear all of it is gone and he has reverted back to how he was when they first met but this time it's so much worse because of their history.
And for Aaron, he has spent a full year wallowing, drinking himself until his numb, abandoning all relationships even his security guard have mentioned how he is only getting worse and worse by the day. Everytime we see him, his surrounding has always been a mess, clearly he has had outbursts where he destroys everything in his site. But, I want people to see at the chapter before Aaron went to the bar. Every single piece of furniture in his room is broken except for 1 thing, the rose Yujin gave back then. He kept it on a vase, despite it rotting and dying it remains in tact.
And if you look at Aaron's condition from the past and his current one after seeing Yujin, I would say he has calmed down by a lot. Unlike the cold and distant expression he always use, there's a tinged of warmth in his eyes and his words is filled with concern like "who have you been with" and " you don't even miss me?" And lastly I want you to look at the room. Aaron didn't go on an outburst, he didn't destroy anything like he did in his own home, the room was clean and so was Yujin. From his words, it was mentioned Yujin was unconscious for 3 whole days, as you can see, the wound on Yujin's body is completely different from the one he received in the previous chapter. This time, it's bite marks. He ensured to heal Yujin and place him in a safe, secure location and ensured him that his biggest worry (his father) can't touch him there.
In my opinion, Aaron is terrified. He doesn't seem like it, but he is terrified of losing Yujin again. He is doing everything in his power to ensure Yujin can't run away because he's not sure if he'll be able to find him again. It took him a whole year and despite being confident before hand, he realize now if Yujin ran he wouldn't be able to track him down.
And for Yujin, he is also scared, but rather than Aaron that he is afraid of it's more of the desire and affection he represents. Yujin isn't someone who is able to be locked down, he has always been someone who live on the move to survive, switching partners, switching homes, switching jobs it doesn't matter to him all he's doing is trying to survive. But ever since Aaron came in the picture, that changed.
In the previous chapter when Yujin was sick, he held onto the record Aaron bought him. He also mentioned how he couldn't bring himself to see Aaron because he feels like he'll fold but he also mentioned how he's been watching Aaron's past movies. Which means he couldn't bare the see him but too scared to lose him so he's tattering between wishing to be beside Aaron but also too afraid to commit to him
Anyways, I honestly still stand with my previous belief that I don't think Aaron would do anything that harms Yujin. He's completely out of his rockers right now but he still held Yujin gently, took care of his wound, and he didn't do anything until Yujin ragebaited him saying "if you want I can be your fuck buddy again" honestly, I believe both is just spitting anything hurtful at the moment to piss each other off which is toxic on both parts and I don't agree with him chaining Yujin up but I also understand why he did. Have you seen the man? He has lived a full year in a house filled with broken glass, living off of booze, cutting off all relations he is NOT fine. I think both need professional help, Aaron with his unhinged obsession and Yujin with his Trauma but this is a bl so we all know neither will get help and will probably have angry sex instead until something really bad happens and they're forced to care for each other.
