I think deep down Changdeok is scared. He never knew his parents- he’s toughened it out his whole life by himself. I think the thought of sharing his life and being vulnerable frightens him T.T someone also said he may think he is undeserving of love and I agree with that too, as in early chapter he tells Jongwu he’s too kind of a kid that deserves someone better than him.
He's the most rational guy ever but man is being a little too rational right now but yeah the relatable aspect is there, no but what kinda denial arc is this, like he didn't fall into lovelorn depression for the 2 years jongwoo went no contact...intensity ain't matching bro..why are you deciding all of this by yourself..JONGWOO THINKS YOU DON'T EVEN LIKE HIM LIKE THAT I just feel so bad for jongwoo coz everything he said makes sm sense :(
