Check out how mc's gloves change in 47 & 57. My Ai suspicions are from little things like that where if someone was drawing it, glove length would be part of character design and glaringly obvious, but if an artist was assisting their art w AI and just doing a QA check on it, it would slip by. I don't think they are using generative ai to make this comic, but I do think they are supplementing their art with it
I come to the comments after a long while and see a bunch of AI accusations. Frankly speaking, tf are y'all talking about?? Like genuinely, I believe some of you just noticed the smallest inconsistencies with the art style (which, btw, is somewhat normal to happen, saying this as an artist myself) (ie. eyes being slightly different sizes in different panels), decided to accuse the comic as AI, and a bunch of others just joined the bandwagon.
I admit that one panel in ch 50 was odd (the one with the doctors and the younger brother), but other than that, I'm highly doubtful with the statement that the doctors might've been done with AI. Just as well they could've been drawn by an assistant and the style changed even more.
The thing is, the art style of the series has always been just a bit odd and occasionally off/inconsistent. Proportions change slightly depending on situations and expressions (ie. eye size), the characters are a bit stiff, and the series does a lot more telling than it does showing. This has *always* been a thing, it's not particularly new to the latest season/chapters. It's also not odd at all for the art style to have some minor changes between seasons, especially for this one, which has always been a bit inconsistent. Personally I think the art style improved a bit for the second season, it doesn't feel as stiff as before.
Frankly, I didn't read all the new chapters in one go to analyze them, just checked out the few specific ones I saw mentioned in the comments. Besides that one single panel in chapter 50, I don't agree with the people spouting AI accusations just like that. Sometimes things are just weird, humans make mistakes too, humans can also be inconsistent - lt's something I noticed for this series long ago.
If you can point out the specifics of why you think they're using AI besides "I got a feeling, things look a bit strange" (ie. Specific chapters, specific panels, specific things that are the reason why you think this), please do let me know! I'd be happy to take another look, and hopefully prove you wrong, or be proven wrong myself and join the disappointed-in-the-artist gang. I'm just a bit annoyed with how it seems some people started these accusations and the rest think they're correct because of that, when there has been no confirmation in one way or another as far as I'm aware of.
