I reread this manhwa a lot despite how fucked up it is. Unlike a lotta toxic BLs I’ve read, I think the author wrote the toxicity well. The MC isn’t a weak damsel in distress; he can fight pretty well and defend himself. The characters have their own unique personalities, I love that some of them are genuinely bad ppl and don’t make excuses for themselves. The plot is pretty good. The smut is also really good too lol. The art style is very unique and the character designs are unique too. So many BLs often suffer from same face syndrome. A lotta semes and ukes look like cardboard cutouts in many series. The characters in this manhwa actually have unique faces and are handsome in their own way, they don’t conform to the typical beauty standards in most BLs. Despite how fucked up it is, the whole point of this manhwa is to be fucked up and imo it does it well.
I don’t recommend this manhwa if you can’t handle toxic relationships, rape, depictions of murder/corpses/gang fights, abuse, confinement, stuff like that. It’s def not fluffy or happy.
