For the first time I left this site and went to the official to purchase with real money. This is the kind of manhwa that makes me remember this is an art form. Art is made to make us feel something and not necessarily it needs to be something good. It can impact us, makes us uncomfortable, force us to reflect on our reality and themes that show humanity's dark side.
I may be getting ahead of myself here, but this is above its peers in terms of storytelling and being a literary material. There is so much intentionality, research in psychology/behaviour, biblical lore, cult structure etc.
Whoever this author is, they are so serious about their craft that they made the hard decision of choosing a non-conventional path (instead of the romance category that would make them more money with a copy/paste trope); and originality has its cost because this probably won't make it into the highest ranks of popularity, but they simply created a category of its own within the omegaverse genre and carved their own place.
I can't compare this to anything else I've read so far, and I'll join this manhwa's cult now and I am gonna knock on people's doors to ask if they heard the word of Songhyel.
