I know the mortal mc suffers with punishment and death, but isnt the snake god suffering more? He clearly is unable to let go of the betrayal and he lives forever... I am not blaming the victim, but the mortal mc can start his life anew everytime, he gets some sort of respite, right? The snake god on the other hand... How can you really breath if you inhale plans of torturing someone and obsessing over them??
