I think the story is really good at showing you that a relationship between a student and his teacher is bound to be unstable and shakey at best. Someone will have to feel less than the other, someone's pride will have to be hurt for giving up so much, someone will look so desperate trying to confirm the other's love.

This is the main reason why I want an arc where Garam breaks free from him and pursues music where Heejae having no involvement, because no amount of domestic moments can make me forget how cruel, dismissive, and belittling he was when Garam tried to leave.
I know Heejae is the reason Garam developed his sound and why he has access to so many opportunities, nothing will change that and that's fine, but he is way too involved and has way too much power over Garam, both personally and professionally, even his manager works under Heejae’s command lmao so yes i desperately need a separation arc.
